Transportation is not included in retreat fees. Airfare as well as ground transportation is the responsibility of the client.  However, if enough students require ground transportation from the airport to the retreat facility, we will consider arranging group transportation for an additional fee. You can indicate your interest on your registration intake form. 

To book your retreat you will need to choose your room, either a single, couple (spouse) or with another writer. You must have made arrangements with the other writer. I will not be connecting you with your roommate. This you must arrange prior to booking. 

We have a number of rooms available for students to bring their spouse. These rooms are priced based on one writer and one guest. 

After making your deposit, Lynn will send you an email. Your email will contain login information to our Retreat Portal.

Your portal will be your go-to hub for all your Ireland Retreat information.

The best way to protect yourself from unforeseen circumstances is to purchase trip insurance. I highly recommend it. 

Travel Insurance can protect you in case:

● You cancel your participation in the retreat

● The retreat was cancelled due to teacher illness, emergencies, acts of God, weather, pandemics, natural disaster, or not enough participants

● Lost baggage

● Medical expenses and the cost of repatriation should you become ill or injured

Payment

When you reserve your spot, we require a $500 deposit per person. If you wish to pay in full, please contact Lynn at lynnpalermo@eastlink.ca and she will issue you an invoice for the full amount that you can pay online. 

Grace Period

Guests have 7 days after placing a deposit to change their mind and get it refunded. After the 7-day grace period, this deposit becomes non-refundable.

Cancellation Policy

Please note there will be no refunds or discounts for arriving late, leaving early, flight cancellations, family emergencies, endemics, pandemics, earthquakes, travel delays or illness. If you cancel your participation in a retreat for any reason, our cancellation policy below will apply.

We wish we could compensate people for unforeseen circumstances (injury, pandemics, illness, family emergency, etc.), but we have costs already incurred when reserving the retreat. We have designed our cancellation policy to be as compassionate as possible in the event that your plans change. But to protect yourself further, we strongly encourage you to purchase travel insurance.

If you cancel the retreat:

All retreat payments become non-refundable less than 90 days before the retreat start date. 

If you cancel more than 90 days before the retreat start date, you may request a partial refund (less a cancellation fee equal to the deposit).

BALANCE TRANSFER

Full and partial retreat payments can be transferred to another retreat taking place within a 24-month period, if you notify us 90 days or more before the retreat start date.

There is a $100 deposit transfer fee associated with making this change, but avoids incurring the cancellation fee.

You may also transfer the balance to a friend if you let us know 90 days or more in advance.

You may only transfer your retreat deposit one time.

We will do our best to work within your restrictions. You can note your dietary restrictions on your registration intake form.
