Why the Masterclass is right for you

  • Overwhelmed with where to begin

Juggling the writing, research and citations can be an overwhelming task. Where to start and end your story is often confusing. Who should the story be about? These are just a few of the obstacles a new writer faces in writing their family history stories.

  • Stories are dull and boring

You're not a writer, you don't know how to make your stories entertaining. You don't have the skills to turn those dry dull facts into an engaging story.

  • Time is limited

It's hard to fit writing into a busy life. Your time is eaten away by other priorites and there is no time left for writing.

  • No confidence or community

You're insecure about your writing skills and sharing your stories with others. You have no one to read your stories and give sound advice

Testimonials

Yvonne Wilson

“I’ve researched my family history for over 25 years. I learned how to take dry information and reveal the personal stories behind the data. Lynn’s classes taught me how to identify the elements of the story, how to bring them to life, the writing tools to use, and how to publish the story. I was so excited when I finally published my first family history book this year. ”

Julie Kennedy

“I was eager to do something with all the family research I had accumulated but wasn’t sure how to start. Lynn has given me the gift of being able to tell my family history in an interesting and exciting way. I’ve wrapped up the story that I started and I have submitted to the state’s historical society for possible publication.”
